This project was a client based research project. We took on the start up business SaktiAgro, which is based out of Sri Lanka with a home office here in Minnesota. Their goal is to repurpose the unused husk of a coconut to both provide a product and also to help the people of Sri Lanka build back their community and economy. The product that is made is called coco peat which has a variety of uses, but mainly used for lawn care, but we also researched to uses for auto mechanics. After a few interviews and hours of secondary online research, we revised our research. We then developed three to-market strategies for different target markets that could be implemented to start getting this product in the hands of consumers. We presented these options to the client and received feedback.
